Why should you buy the CutterPillar Pro?

Hey Crafters!

Why I brought the CutterPillar Pro.

In a recent blog post I spoke about the top 10 things a new crafter needs, number one on the list was a paper trimmer and I actually own three. My first trimmer I really didn’t like because I could never get an accurate cut with it. My second trimmer, the one I use every day is the Stampin’ Up! paper trimmer. I love that trimmer, it cuts perfectly every single time. You might be asking why, if I am so happy with it did I buy the CutterPillar Pro?
The main thing that attracted me to it was the self-sharpening blade, the idea of not having to change the blade ever again really appealed to me. The fact that it has a large cutting surface seemed extremely useful and the storage was an added bonus.
I have been able to cut chipboard which is fantastic as cutting chipboard with a ruler and craft knife is a killer although is does recommend only cutting lightweight chipboard so if you cut anything more than that it may void the warranty so be mindful of that when cutting.

From the CutterPillar website.

Q:  Do you offer replacement blades?
A:  Your CutterPillar should cut for years and years with the sharp rotary blade it came with.  However, should your CutterPillar blade ever need a replacement, we offer a free lifetime replacement warranty on the rotary blade (with regular use–attempting to cut things other than paper and similar stock will void your warranty).  Simply contact customer service to order your replacement blade.  You just pay shipping.    support@cutterpillar.com

Q.  What is the warranty on the CutterPillar Pro?
A.  The rotating blade is warrantied for life.  The rest of the CutterPillar Pro is warrantied against manufacturing defects for 90 days.  If you discover a manufacturing defect within the first 90 days, please contact customer service.  We will repair or replace your CutterPillar with an equal model at our discretion*.   After 90 days, we will help you troubleshoot your issue.  There are many small adjustments that can be made at home that are likely to fix your issue.  If not, we offer repairs for a charge. Please contact customer service.  For user-caused issues, please contact customer service to discuss your options.   (*Note: exchanges for a newer model will not be allowed.)  support@cutterpillar.com

Pro or Crop?

There are two options you can choose from, if you want the larger cutting surface then you want to go for the Pro. As it does take up a lot of desk space if you have a smaller craft room then you will want to go for the Crop. It has the same type of cutting blade, the light for easy cutting but it is has a slimmer profile so will not take up as much space.

Video of the week.

The only cons I have found to buying the CutterPillar is the size, it does take up a lot of space so I have to store it in the box. The other con is the price, it is an investment but in my opinion the lifetime warranty and the quality make it worth the money.

Second Paragraph

Hannah's Blog

If you are like me you have a lot of dies in your collection and we can sometimes get a bit stuck only using them for the intended purpose but it is a good idea to play about with them to see what else we can create with them, that is what I have done for this weeks colour challenge card. I have used the Window Box die from Stampin' Up! for the front of my card with this weeks colours popping through the die cut.

I love how simple this card is, it is very delicate and the colours are very soft i think, I have been doing these colours challenges for a while now and so far every combination has worked really well together.

Hey Crafters!

I love being able to craft with my mom, its another reason I love Stampin' Up! because it has given us another thing we can share together. We share a craft room go to craft events together and have started making videos together too. For today's card we decided to use the Paisley & Posies stamp set and the co-coordinating dies and the colours have been randomly chosen by one of my lovely subscribers.
